Chapter 6 Response

I would prefer to teach in a class with more technologies. Having things like computers, SMART Boards, digital cameras, and other tools such as tablets can make completing tasks and assignments easier. For example, tablets are good tools because of their convenience and portability. Teachers can use them when teaching a lesson while walking around the classroom. Incorporating technology into the class is also an effective way of getting students used to the real world, where it is constantly needed. However, along with the benefits of technology there are also disadvantages. I believe it is important for teachers to monitor their students' technology usage otherwise it can quickly become a distraction. When it is used properly, though, technology can be very conducive to the learning environment.
